A house made of wood with all the ecological advantages in a classic brick house look? No problem with a plaster façade. The solid timber house from Chiemgauer Holzhaus can be plastered.
A solid timber house is not only healthier for the people living in it, but also protects the environment. The construction method does not use any chemicals and the ecological footprint is zero right from the start. At the trade fair Heim und Handwerk, sustainable building concepts that combine modern architecture with ecological responsibility are presented. Wooden houses are possible with plaster facades. The solid timber house looks like brickwork from the outside - but you still have the advantages of a timber house. The wall is warm to the touch, exposed wood surfaces have a cozy effect. No chemicals are used in solid timber construction.
These solid wood elements are not glued together, but connected with hardwood screws. This construction method has building authority approval and complies with the statics and fire protection regulations. The wood is precisely cut using production robots so that the components are closely aligned and have no room for movement, the living space is quiet. Dimensions are used that prevent vibration.
The RAL certificate for CO²-reducing timber construction proves that the house can be operated for several decades until it has an ecological footprint, for example by operating a heat pump. The CO²-reducing construction method combined with sustainable forestry leads to a climatic relief of the environment. This is in comparison to concrete construction, where high CO² emissions are caused by cement production and the firing of bricks.
