For decades, Hansa Creation has been synonymous with lifelike animal representations that go far beyond classic toys. At the current trade fair, the internationally active company is demonstrating how consistently this claim is being developed—both technically and in terms of content. The focus is not on quick effects, but on a long-term approach: animals should be presented realistically, respectfully, and with a clear message.
A central highlight at the stand is a newly developed large figure: the “King of the Animals.” This figure is not only displayed statically, but moves, reacts, and interacts. It can speak, make noises, and thus appears much more lifelike than classic presentation objects. However, such presentations are not only intended to attract attention, but also to show how far Hansa Creation's technical and creative development has come. At the same time, the visuals remain deliberately realistic. Exaggerated comic styles or deliberately simplified forms play no role. The aim is to depict animals as children know them from documentaries, books, or nature programs.
Hansa Creation's core mission goes beyond play and collecting. The company sees itself as responsible for giving children respectful access to the animal world. The idea behind this is clear: those who love animals also protect them. Realism becomes an educational tool. Through the detailed representations, children should learn to
With over 7,000 different animal models, Hansa Creation has one of the most extensive ranges in the world. This breadth is no coincidence, but the result of decades of development work. It took around 25 years to build up this diversity – from native animal species to exotic and endangered species. In the current year alone, around 160 to 170 new animals have been added to the range. These are not quick-trend products, but targeted additions to the existing portfolio. Each new figure is carefully crafted in terms of shape, proportion, surface and expression.
Hansa Creation is active in 26 countries and works with distributors worldwide. Despite this international orientation, the brand core remains clearly defined. The products should function according to the same principles everywhere:
Hansa Creation shows that toys don't have to be loud, digital, or garish to be effective. The realistic animal figures create closeness, arouse emotions, and promote understanding of ecological relationships. Especially at a time when many children only experience nature through the media, these products deliberately focus on haptic experience and observation.
