CornPack is based on puffed corn semolina with a grain size of between two and six millimeters. Together with a natural binding agent, this creates a physical bond that is reinforced by radio waves. The result is a three-dimensional shape with variable density that can be adapted to suit the application. CornPack is therefore suitable for thermoboxes, press closures, corner protection in the wood industry, and transport protection for the electrical industry. The material structure offers stability without the use of fossil raw materials.

Product packaging is food-safe, certified, and harmless

A key advantage of CornPack is its tested safety. When the corn grits are puffed, mycotoxins and fungal spores are destroyed. Tests and certifications confirm that the material is food-safe. It can therefore be used in contact with food, beverages, and sensitive products. CornPack is completely harmless to humans, children, and animals. In addition to packaging for medicine bottles and sensitive glass products, manufacturers in the wine industry also benefit from using the material for gift packaging and displays.

Packaging from transport to presentation packaging

Its versatility is evident in a wide range of applications: from simple transport trays and corner protectors to high-quality presentation solutions. CornPack can be processed with different densities – lighter structures with around 150 grams per liter for transport, compacted variants with up to 500 grams per liter for durable displays.
