At IFA 2025, Hama will be presenting innovative products that make everyday life more convenient and set new standards in the field of mobile payment and smart home solutions. In conversation with Jürgen Hirschbeck, highlights such as an innovative payment wristband, a smart camera in teddy bear design and the continuation of the cooperation with Canton will be presented.
One of the main highlights is the payment wristband, which can be attached to any watch - regardless of whether it is a smartwatch, an automatic watch or a classic heirloom watch. At its heart is an integrated NFC chip that is linked once with the payment data via an app. Once set up, no battery or regular activation is required and the bracelet remains ready for use at all times. In everyday life, it works like a credit card on the wrist: amounts below the pin limit can be paid directly contactless, for higher amounts the code is entered.
The wristband combines ease of use with a high standard of security. Once programmed, there is no need to open an additional app or charge the device. For secure processing, Hama relies on its cooperation with Fidesmo Pay. The partner ensures that all major credit cards are already supported today and that services such as PayPal can also be integrated in the future. This makes the wristband a flexible solution for a broad target group - from classic watch wearers to smartwatch users.
In addition to mobile payment solutions, Hama is also focusing on the topic of smart homes at IFA. One special product is a surveillance camera in the shape of a teddy bear. It can be attached directly to the child's bed, also serves as a night light and allows parents to keep an eye on their child at all times. The combination of functionality and child-friendly design makes the camera a practical solution for families.
Another focus is on the new Bluetooth speakers that have emerged from the continued collaboration with Canton. The portfolio ranges from compact devices for everyday use to large party speakers with powerful sound. Hama is thus also positioning itself in the audio segment with versatile solutions that appeal to different target groups - from private use to events.
At IFA 2025, Hama shows how technology and everyday life can merge. The payment wristband makes contactless payment possible independently of smartwatches, batteries or displays. The portfolio is complemented by innovative smart home products and new speaker solutions developed in collaboration with Canton. This underlines the company's role as a versatile provider of modern electronics solutions.
