Another innovation in the range is FlameKat, a technology that uses a catalyst in addition to a filter. This significantly reduces the already low fine dust levels even further. HARK's goal is to design fireplaces that can be operated in the long term, even with future environmental regulations, without the risk of having to replace the appliances prematurely.

Some models combine this technology with a baking compartment, allowing the stove to be used both as a heating appliance and as a fully-fledged wood-burning stove. Whether pizza, roast pork, or crème brûlée: the combustion chamber is designed to support the temperature control of a kitchen oven and distribute heat evenly. This multifunctionality also makes the appliances attractive in regions where energy independence plays a greater role.
