The wife of soccer star Mats Hummels presents herself stylish and in a good mood as a star guest at Inhorgenta Munich. Presenter Klas Bömecke talks to Cathy Hummels for Messe.TV about her personal preferences when it comes to jewelry, among other things.

Klas Bömecke: Cathy, you're wearing beautiful things! Cathy Hummels: Yes, this is a Talbot Runhof dress and it sparkles just as beautifully as the jewelry I was given. I'm a princess in Wonderland today. Klas Bömecke: And how does that make you feel? Cathy Hummels: Yes, it's a very, very nice feeling (smiles contentedly). Especially wearing such great jewelry and putting on such a beautiful dress - I think that's fun for every woman.
Klas Bömecke: The dress is absolutely amazing! But we're at Inhorgenta - it's all about jewelry. Is that your personal style or what do you wear when you put on jewelry in your private life? Cathy Hummels: Well, if I'm completely honest - it's a bit too heavy and too big for me. I prefer subtle hoops (points to her glittering bracelet), well, subtle in quotation marks. Klas Bömecke: So something a bit more fragile because you're such a delicate person, aren't you? Cathy Hummels: Exactly. Nice little earrings or just a nice little necklace with a big stone. But a big cross like that - that goes quite well with the dress today, but that wouldn't be an everyday look for me.
Klas Bömecke: Okay. In everyday life - what is the best thing for a woman to wear? So several things or should you concentrate on one thing? Cathy Hummels: I'm a fan of simple elegance in everyday life. I like jewelry - but it shouldn't overload the outfit too much. Accessories can spice up an outfit incredibly well, but it's actually best if you have eye-catching accessories and choose a simple outfit to go with them. In everyday life it can be sparkly, but then I think stud earrings or a delicate necklace with a small stone are my personal favorites because otherwise it's too much and then it can quickly look cheap even if it's real jewelry. Klas Bömecke: Yes and last question. What type are you: pearls, gold or silver or platinum? Cathy Hummels: Don't make me choose! That's a rhetorical question. Klas Bömecke: Thank you (laughs).
