Sterntaler expanded its product range at the Kind + Jugend 2025 trade fair in Cologne. The focus was on a new backpack designed not only for kindergarten children but also for schoolchildren. With a capacity of 12 liters, it offers enough space for day trips and is designed to be comfortable and child-friendly to carry.
The insulated bottom compartment is particularly striking – a novelty in the children's segment. The matching lunch box fits perfectly inside, so that snacks can be stored optimally. The backpack also has an integrated rain cover in the lid. This is in a bright color and, in combination with reflective prints – either a rabbit or a fox – ensures good visibility. Padded shoulder straps, side pockets for water bottles, and an insulated seat cushion round out the features and make the backpack a practical companion for hikes and excursions.
Sterntaler has introduced a new lunch box to match the backpack. It is designed so that even small children's hands can open it easily. A silicone closure and a sealing ring prevent liquids or fruit juice from leaking. The lunch box is sold together with a water bottle, and both can be personalized with dishwasher-safe stickers. There is a selection of letters and motif stickers so that children can customize their box and bottle.
The drinking bottle holds 400 milliliters, is transparent and therefore practical for checking the fill level and contents at any time. It is particularly lightweight, easy to open and also suitable for carbonated drinks – a plus for children who prefer sparkling drinks. With its colorful design and robust material, it perfectly complements the set and fits perfectly into the side pockets of the new backpack.
With the new backpack, lunch box, and water bottle, Sterntaler offers a well-designed complete package that makes everyday life easier for families. All products are coordinated, practical in detail, and designed to appeal to children. Sterntaler is thus expanding its range specifically for older kindergarten and school children who want to be on the go – whether on the way to school, playing sports, or on weekend trips.
