BYD celebrates ten years of home storage solutions and announces new initiatives

Ten years after the market launch of its first storage solution, BYD Energy Storage is using Intersolar Europe to take stock and look ahead. At the trade fair in Munich, the anniversary is marked by technical advances, growing market volume and changing requirements for modern home storage systems. BYD is not only celebrating a milestone anniversary, but also underlining its long-term positioning in the field of stationary energy storage. The Battery Box family is in use worldwide and stands for modular storage solutions that can be flexibly scaled. At Intersolar, BYD will demonstrate how modern home storage systems can now be seamlessly integrated into existing energy systems. Intelligent controls, hybrid inverters and emergency power functions are increasingly becoming standard features. A key topic is networking. Storage solutions are increasingly becoming part of a holistic energy management system that combines photovoltaics, consumption control and grid integration. Efficiency and performance remain important factors, but are gaining additional significance in combination with digital control and system openness.
