HIGH END 2025 came to an end on May 18 with a new visitor record and strong international participation. After more than two decades, the renowned audio trade fair bid farewell to the MOC in Munich – and at the same time opened a new chapter. From 2026, the event will take place in Vienna for the first time. This year's finale was dominated by the motto “Passion for Music” – an enthusiasm that was palpable throughout the four days of the trade fair.
With over 22,800 participants from 92 countries and 501 exhibitors in a fully booked venue, HIGH END 2025 was more popular than ever before. The trade fair offered a wide range of audiophile products – from high-end components to mobile sound solutions – and was also a platform for intensive professional exchange. Parallel to the main exhibition, special areas such as the WORLD OF HEADPHONES and the GAMING ZONE impressed visitors with a wide range of hands-on activities. The media presence was also impressive: more than 580 accredited journalists reported directly from the trade fair.
In addition to the product range, the program was shaped by specialist presentations and panel discussions on the X-PERT Stage. Topics such as sustainable technology, innovative standards, and social developments within the audio industry were in focus. Norwegian musician Anette Askvik, who impressed as the trade fair's brand ambassador with several live performances, also provided special highlights. Her performance in immersive audio quality was very well received by the audience – an atmospheric highlight at the end of the trade fair.
The move from the Munich Trade Fair to the Austrian capital not only marks a change of location, but also stands for a new beginning and further development. The Austria Center Vienna offers new opportunities for growth and modernization. Organizers and exhibitors are looking forward to the move with confidence. The next HIGH END will take place in Vienna from May 28 to 31, 2026.
