automatica 2025: High-tech summit provides outlook on the future of AI and robotics

On June 24, 2025, automatica in Munich will once again focus on international developments in intelligent production. A highlight of the trade fair is the munich_i High-Tech Summit, which will take place in Hall B4 under the motto “Intelligence empowering tomorrow.” With 15 leading minds from science and industry, the event will provide deep insights into the latest trends in artificial intelligence, robotics, and their applications in industry, medicine, and society.

Technological trends with social relevance

Four thematically structured sessions at the automatica will shed light on topics such as human-machine interaction, the use of 6G in cooperative robotics, and advances in generative AI and medical robotics. Speakers include international experts from institutions such as Google DeepMind, Meta, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and the Honda Research Institute Europe. In addition to technical innovations, the summit will also focus on ethical issues, security requirements, and the benefits of intelligent systems in healthcare.

The high-tech summit is part of the munich_i innovation platform, which is jointly organized by the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) at the Technical University of Munich and Messe München. In addition to presentations, munich_i offers further formats that bring future technologies to life, such as the Robothon® developer challenge and the AI.Society dialogue exhibition. The aim is to bring together decision-makers from research, business, and politics and to initiate a practical exchange on the potential of AI and robotics.
