Miriam Kollmar was born in Munich and studied fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts. She then expanded her knowledge by studying the restoration and conservation of antique furniture and wooden objects.
Thanks to her in-depth training in art, craftsmanship and restoration, she has a keen sense of aesthetics, materiality and historical contexts. At Messe.TV, she uses her specialist knowledge to report on current developments, unusual design concepts and special exhibits. Her precise perception for details and quality is evident in her contributions and offers readers well-founded and expert insights into the world of trade fairs.
