They are made from a specially developed material, are extremely robust, adapt automatically to climatic conditions such as the cold and offer many other technical benefits. Mr. Claudio Blassnig from IQ brand demonstrates to the Messe.TV team at the company's stand at opti 2024 just how bendable and flexible the unbreakable sports glasses and sunglasses are. They are not only extremely practical for athletes, the unbreakable glasses also impress in everyday life. Everyone is familiar with the wear and tear of conventional sunglasses, be it through carelessness in a jacket pocket or breakage due to children's lively play. Incidentally, production is carried out exclusively at the Zillertal site by 30 employees, with a further 30 employees looking after the office and sales.
Lifestyle eyewear with Color Fusion finishing technology
We can see the unmistakable style of the sunglasses from the 2024 collection for ourselves at the trade fair stand. Originally coming from the sports scene, GLORYFY has put its experience into lifestyle eyewear and frames after 10 years of know-how. The technology is the same for all glasses in all collections. The polymer NBFX (Non Breaking Flex Polymer), a cast resin, was developed in the IQ brand laboratory and is only used for the GLORYFY brand. The 2024 collection also features a new finishing technique called Colour Fusion, in which the frame color is not painted, but rather polished in through a multi-layered process in which the colors are applied by hand. The heat causes the color pigments to diffuse into the material, creating an acetate effect without having to use acetate. Another technical added value is the cold adjustment of the temples. This allows the wearer to easily adjust the extremely flexible temples to suit their needs.
Every pair of GLORYFY glasses is a complete package of stylish, sustainable eyewear with many technical advantages.
