Scandinavic Wood Art, founded in 2001, is a German company specializing in the manufacture and sale of Scandinavian garden and wellness products. The range includes barbecue kotas, garden saunas, sauna barrels, camping pods and hot tubs, which are manufactured in our own German production facilities. With two production facilities covering over 20,000 m² and a large showroom in Sterup, Scandinavic Wood Art offers high-quality products with outstanding workmanship.
The barbecue kota, inspired by Finnish mountain huts, offers an exceptional opportunity to experience convivial moments. With space for up to twelve people around a centrally positioned barbecue fire, the Kota combines comfort and coziness. Thanks to its unique design with short wall surfaces and long roof surfaces, the hut appears compact from the outside, but surprises with an inviting atmosphere on the inside. Whether in summer or winter, the barbecue kota is suitable for all seasons and creates a cozy place to spend time together.
At the center of the Grillkota is a versatile barbecue that is powered by coal to ensure even heat and a smoke-free indoor climate. Various barbecue accessories such as a swivel grill for flaming salmon or a plancha extend the range of possible uses. The barbecue fire not only serves as a cooking area, but also as a heat source that warms the hut to a pleasant temperature. The barbecue can be easily removed and replaced with a tabletop for additional customization. If desired, infrared heaters or other heating solutions can even be integrated to provide even more comfort.
The Grillkota is available in different versions that can be adapted to individual needs and wishes. Customers can choose between numerous extras such as solid stone tables, an integrated bar or a refrigerator. This flexibility makes it possible to design the Kota as both a garden shed and a social meeting place. With a starting price of €7,800 for basic models and individually selectable additional options, kotas can be offered up to complete solutions for around €14,400 - including delivery and assembly.
With less than 30 cubic meters of enclosed space, the barbecue hut is generally considered a garden shed and does not usually require any complex approval procedures. Nevertheless, local building regulations should be checked. Over 20,000 installed kotas in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries speak for trouble-free implementation. The barbecue kota combines functionality, aesthetics and adaptability and offers an ideal solution for sociable occasions in the garden.
